International leading well repair equipment using "green technology"

Thanks to independent innovation and China's creativity, our path in the research and development of new energy automated well repair equipment has become increasingly broad. Starting from 2019, with the vision of reducing worker labor intensity and promoting green development of well repair equipment, we have embarked on a journey of researching and developing fully electric drive automated well repair equipment to solve practical on-site problems. In the future, we will anchor the development direction of electrification, automation, and digitization, continuously consolidate our technological foundation, break through the technical bottlenecks of well repair operations and pressure automation operations, continuously lead the innovation and development of new energy automation well repair equipment, and enable China to create and enhance "new content", "gold content", and "green content".

On March 25th, the new energy automation well repair equipment for petrochemical machinery won the only exhibit innovation gold award at the 24th China International Petroleum and Petrochemical Technology Equipment Exhibition.

"After ten years of research and development, and three years of rapid development, we have successfully applied new energy drive and control technology to well repair equipment, bringing about systematic and revolutionary changes." Li Zhe, the research and development leader of petrochemical machinery well repair equipment, introduced.

Efficient and green well repair operations are an important link in ensuring the normal operation of oil and gas fields and maintaining national energy security. Throughout the years, petrochemical machinery has taken the responsibility and mission of "intelligent manufacturing of national heavy equipment, serving energy security", and the direction of high-end, intelligent, green, and service-oriented, forming a cross professional R&D team, striving to achieve iterative upgrading of well repair equipment.

The path of research and development is fraught with numerous difficulties. How to design reasonable mechanical structures and lightweight components to adapt to installation space and load limitations and harsh working environments, how to ensure the durability and reliability of equipment under high pressure, high temperature and other conditions, how to achieve convenient human-machine interaction and safe operation... Based on these requirements, the R&D team comprehensively identifies key factors, establishes a dedicated testing platform, simulates actual working environments for repeated verification, and continuously optimizes mechanical design.

Adapted to different regions, petrochemical machinery has overcome key core technologies such as new energy management and control for well repair operations, automated processing and full process control of well repair tubing, and development and integration of high-efficiency well repair equipment components. It has innovatively developed four categories and seven series of new energy automated well repair equipment, including oil electric dual drive well repair machines, grid electric well repair machines, grid electric energy storage well repair machines, and all electric drive well repair machines. Nowadays, it has been widely used in major oil fields in China, as more than 30 countries and regions, among which there are "world firsts".

In 2022, Petrochemical Machinery also launched the world's first fully electric drive SXJ900E automated well repair equipment. The chassis driving and well repair operations are fully electrified, with zero pollution and zero emissions during the operation process. This equipment has been successfully applied in Shengli Oilfield, Jianghan Oilfield, and other fields.

The promotion and application of new energy automated well repair equipment have shown significant results, establishing an international leading position in domestic well repair equipment technology, helping oil and gas fields maintain stable production, improve efficiency, and achieve green development, providing strong support for ensuring national energy security.
